Silvia Gomez Giusto

Album Portraits Read / Memory Park (2014)

Direction and creation of the cycle: Silvia Gómez Giusto – Amalia Sanz

What collective scenes are recovered by remembering the games, tastes or fears of childhood? What historical journey can be built from the union of pieces of memory of different individuals?

“Album, portraits read” is a memory exercise that seeks to reinvent experience as a collective method of reconstructing recent history.

From an idea and realization of Silvia Gómez Giusto and Amalia Sanz, from the small intimate worlds of childhood, a community story is reached, a space where people, places and distant times converge and from where it is possible to guess a common identity.

Guest authors: Marcelo Figueras, Clemente Cancela, Mariana Chaud, Jorge Halperín Washington Cucurto, Cecilica Szperling, Javier Daulte, Fabiana Barreda, Damián Dreizik, and Andrés Di Tella.
